CWW 2015 will be held at the Technische Universität Berlin (Berlin Institute of Technology), following the CWW 2011, Trondheim (www.cww2011.nina.no) and CWE 2013, Stockholm (http://www.naturvardsverket.se/CWE2013) conferences.

The main objective of this event is the consolidation of the state of research in the field of wind and wildlife interactions on- and offshore. Hot topics include cumulative effects, wind energy in forested areas, the efficiency of avoidance and mitigation measures. Transmission grid expansion and repowering will also be addressed as additional themes. Not only investigating the impact of wind energy on wildlife, the sessions will also cover the methods used to assess and mitigate those impacts, as well as adequate planning and permission processes and policy-making. Synoptical contributions will be encouraged, as we explore what we already know, which uncertainties remain and where we should go from here.

As with the previous conferences in Norway and Sweden, the event will serve as a forum for sharing knowledge on an international level. We would like to address researchers, agency officials, conservationists, planners, project managers, developers and representatives of the energy industry.

Information about the CWW2015 will be provided here.
